A few weeks ago, the whole school took part in safety workshops. Take a look at Year 3 and Year 4’s workshop. We really enjoyed finding out about staying safe when in the water and close to it. We learned 4 safety rules:
S is for Spotting Dangers
A is for Always going go with a friend
F is for following the safety flags
E is for taking Emergency action

Today, we had great fun in our Science workshop. Tom from the Discovery Museum visited us and we designed and built our own rocket cars. We used our scientific knowledge to help us to build and then modify a car that would travel the furthest and the fastest. The best part was testing our rocket cars; they flew across the school hall!
Well done to Jack, Neve, Seth and James who received certificates.
In RE we have been learning about Oscar Romero as it is the centenary of his birth. In El Salvador, the place where Oscar Romero lived, there was a tradition of producing colourful crucifixes . We decided to create our own.

Well done to the children that took part in the tennis competition.   They demonstrated the tennis skills they have been learning during our tennis sessions at school. They were fantastic and very well behaved.
